Vukasin Petrovic is the Director of Governance and Civic Engagement. He is responsible for developing and implementing projects that aim to protect and promote democracy and human rights in Nigeria, Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Nepal.
Vukasin Petrovic is the Director of EAI’s Governance and Civic Engagement practice area. In this position, he is responsible for development and implementation of projects that aim to protect and promote democracy and human rights in countries such as Nigeria, Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Nepal. Vukasin has over two decades of experience with a range of human rights, civil society, and governance programs. He specializes in strategy development, scenario-based planning, political analysis, design of human rights campaigns, social-behavioral change, programming in closing and closed environments, and civil society use of emerging technologies.
Before joining EAI, he worked with several organizations, including serving as Freedom House’s Senior Director for Program Strategy and Director for Africa Programs. He was a prominent student leader in Belgrade, Serbia, during the 1990s and later earned a Master’s degree with distinction in Media Studies from City University, London.
