Graham Couturier

Graham Couturier brings over 12 years of innovative program experience to his role as President and CEO. He has extensive experience implementing programs across Africa and South Asia and has led EAI's growth and geographic expansion strategy.
Graham Couturier serves as President & CEO of Equal Access International (EAI), an international social and behavior change NGO specializing in peacebuilding, countering violent extremism, gender and social inclusion, governance and civic engagement, and youth empowerment. As CEO, Graham is responsible for overall strategy and executive leadership, leads EAI’s growth and diversification, and oversees a staff of 150 across Africa and Asia.
During his 10 years at EAI, Graham has helped the organization more than double in size; launch new country programs in Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Cote d’Ivoire, Mali, Nigeria, Kenya, and the Philippines; and strengthen its innovative approach combining media and communications with grassroots community outreach. Prior to taking over as CEO on January 1, 2022, Graham served as Executive Vice President, Director of Programs, and Africa Director, among other roles.
Before joining EAI, Graham worked for Search for Common Ground for five years focusing on East, Southern, and West Africa. He has an MBA from the HEC-Paris School of Management and a Master of Arts in Law & Diplomacy (MALD) from the Fletcher School of Law & Diplomacy (Tufts University).
