18 Peace Fellows successfully launched their peace projects on December 1, 2022 at Al Nor Convention Center, Cotabato City.

The Peace Promotion Fellowship (PPF) projects launching showcased seven peace projects led by 18 dynamic young #peace influencers and leaders from BARMM and Region 12. Now on its third batch, this year’s peace projects focus on different peace solutions related to media information literacy, intercultural dialogue, conflict transformation, moral governance, women empowerment, and peace education.
Around 100 guests from different BARMM ministries, INGO/NGOs, CSOs, UN offices, youth organizations, media partners, and the academe witnessed the project presentations of the #PeaceFellows. The recently held launch gave the fellows a platform to widen their networks and establish partnerships as they implement their peace projects in the next three months. The event was part of EAI’s celebration of the Mindanao Week of Peace (MWOP) 2022, in partnership with the Bangsamoro Youth Commission.
The PPF is EAI’s premiere youth development program for young community #leaders who are passionate and committed to peacebuilding, transforming extremism, and positive social change. The program supports outstanding candidates from the #TechCamp series who aim to co-create innovative and sustainable peace solutions to address challenges faced by their communities. This year’s PPF is one of EAI Philippines’ youth programs under the Communities and Schools Leading in the Fight against Terrorism (CS-LIFT) project. #OURmindaNOW #EqualAccessPH
