Ibanez Jacobs brings 17+ years of strategic global HR leadership experience to EAI. With a background in international development, strategic business and workforce planning, and innovative HR practices, Ibanez is focused on increasing organizational productivity and work quality, helping staff reach their full potential, and driving great results.

Prior to joining EAI in November 2019, Ibanez worked at the National Democratic Institute, Global Communities, the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), and the Department of State. She has broad HR generalist experience in areas of strategic HR management, recruiting and talent development, employee engagement, employee and labor relations, effective performance management, strategic leadership and coaching programs, diversity and inclusion programs, total rewards strategy, HR metrics and analytics, workflow productivity and operational efficiency, etc.

Ibanez believes that the HR profession allows her to live her personal values, to serve many people, to make a positive impact, and to help them reach their full potential. She has the Certificate in Human Resources Management and is currently working on the Strategic Human Resources Leadership Certification at Cornell University. Also, she is currently working on the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification. Ibanez has traveled to Europe, Asia, and the Middle East, and currently resides in Germantown, Maryland.
