In collaboration with the U.S. Department of State (DOS) and local partners, Equal Access International is launching the two-year Fostering Religious Tolerance for Peace (FRTP) program. This initiative aims to address the escalating challenges faced by Afghan refugee communities in Pakistan and Tajikistan due to deteriorating humanitarian conditions and strained resources. The program seeks to diminish violence, discrimination, and threats against Afghan refugees based on their religious beliefs or practices. Through comprehensive research and strategic communication approaches, FRTP aims to increase awareness of religious freedom, promote pluralism, and build resilient and inclusive communities among both host and refugee populations.”
